What a kit is here

A kit is a set of products chosen to work together, with the reasoning shown. Not a mystery box, and not a random assortment with a discount stapled on — every kit says which pieces it contains, why those and not others, and what each one is for. You can take the whole thing, take two pieces from it, or use it purely as a shortlist and buy nothing.

They come in two shapes. Toy and accessory kits are sequenced — a starter, the right lube, and aftercare, in the order that makes a first experience a good one. Lingerie capsules are coordinated instead: one palette per pack, sizes that match across the pieces, so four items behave like more than four outfits.

How we pick what goes in

• By hand. Someone chose these and put them next to each other. We tried generating capsules automatically and it produced technically-correct sets nobody would want, so we stopped.
• Materials first. Every product carries its Phareros Score, built from what it is made of, the brand’s record and real demand. Where a best-seller scores badly we say so on the page rather than quietly leading with it.
• In stock today. If a piece sells out it drops off the kit rather than sitting there unavailable. A set that arrives in instalments defeats the point.
• Nothing padded. Where the range genuinely lacks a coordinating piece, the kit is shorter. We would rather show four things that work than six that do not.
