Of the products in the Powerful & Intense collection we have classified, the most common materials are Silicone (80%), ABS Plastic (7%), Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) (5%), Plastic (2%), Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) (2%). About 6% are porous materials such as PVC, TPE or rubber. Porous materials cannot be fully sterilised, so they suit trying a shape rather than long-term use, and we say so on the product page rather than hiding it.

We score every product 0-100 on what it is actually made of, its brand track record and real demand. 118 of these products in the Powerful & Intense collection carry a score, and the median is 63/100. The score is published even when it is unflattering — see how we score at /phareros-score/.
