# The First Lingerie Capsule

> A beginner lingerie capsule in coordinating black — set, chemise and panties, all One Size or wide-size. Chosen so a first purchase actually works together.

Pieces that go together, so the first purchase is not a gamble.

The hardest lingerie purchase is the first one, because nothing you own gives you a reference point. You are guessing at fit, guessing at how bold you want to be, and guessing whether the thing that looked good on a model will look good on you. These packs remove two of those three guesses.

## Why these pieces

They are built from forgiving pieces rather than fashion-forward ones. Everything is One Size Fits Most or offered across four or more sizes, so a slightly wrong guess is still wearable — which is not true of structured, boned pieces where the fit *is* the garment. Both foundation sets in the black pack are Escante, deliberately: one brand across the pieces you will wear most means the sizing runs consistently, which matters more on a first purchase than variety does. And there is nothing crotchless, cupless or fetish-register in either pack, because that is the wrong place to start.

## Who it is for

For a first proper purchase, or a first one in a long time.

## How this capsule is put together

- **Options, not a locked set.** Each capsule comes as several packs in different palettes, and every pack shows more than one choice per slot — with the rest of the range one click below it. Take a whole pack, take two pieces from it, or use it as a starting point and keep browsing. Nothing here is sold as an all-or-nothing box.
- **Extended sizes are a pack, not an afterthought.** Every capsule here has one, built from pieces that are cut at the size rather than graded up from a smaller one. The average US womenswear size is 16 to 18, so this is not a niche being accommodated — it is most people, and most lingerie ranges still treat it as an edge case. Several of these packs run to eight size options, which is wider than their straight-size equivalents.
- **Picked by hand, not by algorithm.** Someone chose these pieces and put them next to each other. We tried generating capsules automatically first; it produced technically-correct sets that no one would want, so we stopped.
- **A palette, not just a colour.** Each pack sits in one family with a considered accent — black with metallics, red through burgundy, ivory with nude. Shades vary between fabrics and brands, which reads as intentional; it is mismatched *families* that look like a mistake.
- **Sizes that can actually be matched.** Every item is One Size Fits Most or offered in four or more sizes, so you can take your usual size across the set instead of compromising on one piece.
- **In stock today.** Nothing here is a backorder, and if a piece sells out it drops off this page rather than sitting here unavailable.
- **Nothing padded.** Where the range genuinely does not have a coordinating piece, the capsule is shorter. We would rather show you four things that work than six that do not.

## Common questions

**What if the size is wrong?**

Everything here is One Size Fits Most or available in four or more sizes, specifically so a near-miss is still wearable. Check the size guidance on each product page before ordering.

**Black or blush?**

Black is more versatile and mixes with more. Blush is softer and, for a lot of people, easier to wear the first time. Neither is a wrong answer.

**Is this discreet to order?**

Yes. Plain outer packaging, no branding, and a neutral entry on your statement. Our [discreet shipping page](https://phareros.com/discreet-shipping/) sets out exactly what arrives and what it says.
