# The Curve Capsule

> A coordinating lingerie capsule drawn entirely from our Plus & Queen range — set, teddy and chemise in black. Cut for the size, not graded up from a smaller one.

Built from the Plus & Queen range, not scaled up from straight sizes.

The average US womenswear size is 16 to 18. Extended sizing is not a minority being accommodated — it is most people, served last and served worst. Plus-size lingerie is too often the straight-size design with more fabric, which is why so much of it fits badly in exactly the places that matter. These packs are drawn entirely from ranges designed at that size rather than scaled to it.

## Why these pieces

The failure in graded-up lingerie is structural: straps, panels and cups do not scale linearly, so a design that works at S goes wrong at 3X in ways more fabric cannot fix. Sourcing a whole pack from a range built at these sizes avoids the problem rather than working around it. Every piece here is verified to carry 1X or larger, or Queen, from its own size options — not merely to sit in a Plus category, because products appear in both trees and the category alone proves nothing. The size spreads are wide, several running to six, seven or eight options, so there is room to find the right fit rather than the nearest one.

## Who it is for

For anyone who has been offered "extended sizing" that turned out to be one extra size.

Choose a palette: Black Jewel Tones Red

## Black

The versatile pack. Deliberately short — the plus range is thinner in black once fetish-register pieces are set aside, and we would rather it be brief than padded.

### The set

Cut for the size, not graded up to it.

## How this capsule is put together

- **Options, not a locked set.** Each capsule comes as several packs in different palettes, and every pack shows more than one choice per slot — with the rest of the range one click below it. Take a whole pack, take two pieces from it, or use it as a starting point and keep browsing. Nothing here is sold as an all-or-nothing box.
- **Extended sizes are a pack, not an afterthought.** Every capsule here has one, built from pieces that are cut at the size rather than graded up from a smaller one. The average US womenswear size is 16 to 18, so this is not a niche being accommodated — it is most people, and most lingerie ranges still treat it as an edge case. Several of these packs run to eight size options, which is wider than their straight-size equivalents.
- **Picked by hand, not by algorithm.** Someone chose these pieces and put them next to each other. We tried generating capsules automatically first; it produced technically-correct sets that no one would want, so we stopped.
- **A palette, not just a colour.** Each pack sits in one family with a considered accent — black with metallics, red through burgundy, ivory with nude. Shades vary between fabrics and brands, which reads as intentional; it is mismatched *families* that look like a mistake.
- **Sizes that can actually be matched.** Every item is One Size Fits Most or offered in four or more sizes, so you can take your usual size across the set instead of compromising on one piece.
- **In stock today.** Nothing here is a backorder, and if a piece sells out it drops off this page rather than sitting here unavailable.
- **Nothing padded.** Where the range genuinely does not have a coordinating piece, the capsule is shorter. We would rather show you four things that work than six that do not.

## Common questions

**How is this different from ordering a larger size?**

These are pieces from ranges designed at plus and queen sizes, rather than straight-size designs offered in a bigger cut. Straps, panels and cups do not scale linearly, which is why the difference shows up in fit rather than in the size label.

**What sizes are covered?**

Every piece is verified to offer 1X or larger, or Queen, and the spreads are wide — several run to six, seven or eight options. Check each product page for its exact range.

**Why is the black pack shorter than the others?**

Because the plus range genuinely has less in it in black once we set aside the fetish-register pieces, which are the wrong fit for a general capsule. The jewel and red packs are deeper, and we would rather be straight about that than pad the black one to match.
